Zephaniah 3:17:
"The LORD your God is among you,
a warrior who saves.
He will rejoice over you
with gladness.
He will bring you quietness
with His love.
He will delight in you with
shouts of joy."
I just love when God proves Himself strong and mighty through scripture. His word is ALIVE!! Can we not see it? Is He a warrior in YOUR life? Is He rejoicing over you with a stillness and peace that ONLY comes from Him? Do you feel His delight in you?
These promises are for HIS children!!
Forgive me Lord, when I become too self-absorbed, prideful, and selfish to see just HOW MIGHTY YOU ARE! Father, Your Word says You are a WARRIOR-for me!! You are fighting on my behalf. You delight in me. Praise you Lord for never giving up on me.

I have been battling FEAR and OPPOSITION for the past few days. I know without a shadow of a doubt it is because of our adoption. See, we are starting to feel in our hearts, that this little Korean baby,is OURS. She belongs with US. And, just like the scene from Na*nia-Secrets of the D**n Treader, the opposing forces around us are ever so slightly creeping in. Ya know, the part in the movie, where Edmund and Susan and Prince Caspian decide to find the lost souls? They were told they would be TESTED like never before. Ugly, green, rolling smoke, aka evil forces, followed them and brought forces of darkness with it. Is not adoption bringing a soul into one's family that otherwise would be motherless and fatherless?? Is not an orphan waiting on someone to find them? So, YES, I believe wholeheartedly that the enemy will throw arrows of FEAR, DOUBT, and whatever else will take our eyes off of our WARRIOR. In our flesh, we will fail and stumble and mess up, but their is ONE who is ABLE to fight for us. He is the one who sets the lonely in families. He is also the one who rescued us as orphans and adopted us, so that we may receive ALL that is His.
After all that, I just want to say that my Warrior has been fighting on my behalf and on behalf of this little one who waits. Not one family has inquired about her. She is 12 months old and not a single family has fought for her. But oh, that is changing. See, 2 days ago, I "told" Him that if we had to wait on this specific issue to come about, then she was not for us. This specific issue was a biggy and was out of our control and had to do with country guidelines. That morning, our social worker called and said that this issue was settled. We could move forward.
Reeeaaallly???
So, our WARRIOR is already in battle.
"Finally, be strenthened by the Lord and His vast strength. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the devil."
Ephesians 6:10-11
